Couples divided by coronavirus can reunite

Starting today, non-EU people in a relationship with a Czech citizen will be able to come to the country.

They will need to submit an affidavit confirming their long-term relationship. Partners will be able to prove their relationship with, for example, a joint lease agreement, a joint bank account or a birth certificate for their children.

People from countries where the coronavirus is widespread - such as the US - will also need a negative test. Otherwise, they will have to quarantine for 14 days.
