Strict measures from today

Due to the epidemic situation, the rules for free movement of people have been tightened for three weeks from today. People must remain in their district, but there are exceptions. People over 70 can register for vaccination

People over the age of 70 can start registering for Covid-19 vaccination today through the Ministry of Health's website. They can register, and in case of enough vaccine, even book an appointment immediately, they can go to vaccination places in hospitals or other places. Exactly when the application will start, the Ministry of Health did not state.

Germany will provide vaccines for Czechs

The three German states will send 15,000 doses of vaccine to the Czech Republic, MDR television reported today with reference to Saxon Prime Minister Michael Kretschmer. In the case of the Russian Sputnik V vaccine, the certification of the State Institute for Drug Control would be enough for the Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO), as well as for President Miloš Zeman.

Czech National Theatre full of artists

Over two hundred performers took part in live concert Nation to Itself - Culture to You, to draw attention to the state of Czech culture in the pandemic era. The event, which had the character of a multi-genre festival, took place in the historic building of the National Theater. The program connected singers, dancers, musicians and actors as well as various musical styles from classical to dance music, pop, rap and beatbox.
