Roman Prymula became Adam Vojtěch's successor at the Ministry of Health. He was appointed by President Miloš Zeman on Monday afternoon at the Lány chateau. The new minister will take office on Tuesday.
According to the Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO), Prymula's main task will be crisis management. Among other things, Babiš wants the new minister to make sure that enough hospital beds for patients with COVID-19 will be available throughout the country.
Prymula agreed with the Prime Minister and confirmed his main task to the media. Above all, he wants to improve the Ministry's communication with the public and ensure that the measures issued are clear and comprehensible.
